<image:caption>Practice Manager Practice manager, Jodie, has been with the practice since 2014 and is often the first person you'll have contact with. Jodie can help you with your referrals, appointments, accounts and information about other services and systems that you might need to access. Jodie is passionate about mental health and together we support our clients to attend their therapy, whether it be by liaising with other health professionals, organising paperwork or being a child-friendly space. We're about what people can do, not what they can't do.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Team - Toni Hanna</image:title>
<image:caption>Principal Clinician and Practice Owner I’m Toni Hanna and I provide clinical therapy services for women, young people, and children. I have been a therapist since 1995 and hold two degrees in the area of human behaviour. I have a belief that women do better when they are supported by other women and has been my ethos for many years. I believe women need to work from their hearts to transform their lives into something more authentic. I see a lot of women wanting the best for their families and friends, yet not being willing to give themselves the same care. We all have strengths, and my role is to guide my clients identify theirs turn them into actions. I work with an individualised, creative approach to each client. My practice reflects this as a warm and creative space, inspired by and created for the women, children and young people that come here. I’m also working on my own life journey, so I’m definitely ‘walking the walk’ and not just dishing out advice. When I talk with women about what struggles they’re facing – please know, I do not have a perfect life! However, I do have tools and strategies to help women with their challenges, and more than that – to change their lives to better reflect their dreams. I also engage in hundreds of hours each year of professional development, peer and clinical supervision, and volunteering in the field of contextual behavioural science. It matters to me that I can provide evidence-based therapy and be held accountable by my peers to ensure my clients get the most up-to-date services.</image:caption>

      <image:title>For Adolescent Girls/AFAB and Parents - Individual therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Therapy starts with gaining a thorough clinical understanding of what the young person is struggling with, considering their developmental stage and family history. Often this involves working with their parent/s, school and other health professionals. At times, it may be useful to consider siblings relationships, particularly if there are high levels of conflict. Your adolescent may be eligible for a mental health care plan through their GP.</image:caption>

<image:title>For Adolescent Girls/AFAB and Parents - Parent Education and Support</image:title>
<image:caption>We are passionate about helping parents feel supported in how they help their adolescent children with adversity and mental health issues. We believe that parents are on a journey of development, just as their children are, and at times relevant information and strategies can be incredibly useful to move everyone forward. Parenting can be so rewarding and enjoyable with the right strategies and support.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - What is ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)?</image:title>
<image:caption>ACT is a type of therapy that works on understanding human behaviour and applying processes to alleviate suffering. From the beginning, you will be learning how to understand and respond more effectively to your own negative thoughts and feelings. You will also learn how to overcome barriers that get in the way of you living the life that you want. ACT is a compassionate therapy that seeks to connect us to our own humanity. It has a powerful focus on more than just symptom reduction, and instead brings us closer to what has meaning for us.</image:caption>
